Swap Them Out!

I know that sometimes, life may deal us a bad hand, and we are supposed to play the cards we are dealt, but I firmly believe in swapping out the cards that are useless to my future and my purpose. Just because someone tries to ascribe a certain disposition, mentality, or opinion with regards to my life or my decisions, doesn't necessarily mean I have to line up to those suppositions. I'm not required to answer questions or explain myself based on someone else's limited knowledge of me. Neither do I have to "stew" over the fact that people are going to do whatever they are going to do, or believe whatever they want about me. I'm comfortable in knowing that I can't control anyone or their thought processes. What I will do from this day forward, is remove anything that is not essential to my purpose and future success, and replace that with whatever I find to be worth my time, attention and happiness. We have to love ourselves even when it seems that no one likes us.
